Mayhew Gerber Viewer

It is very similar to the Mayhew Labs online Gerber viewer, except it’s offline (and has a few different features). My tool is program for Windows (32bits or 64bits) that use OpenGL for visualization (you will need a decent/recent video card). You can simply drag and drop Gerber files on it, or use the command line to configure it more deeply. Mayhew Labs / Products / Mux Shield If your Arduino needs a lot of inputs this is your solution! If your Arduino needs a lot of inputs this is your solution! The Mux (Multiplexer) Shield adds the capacity for up to 48 inputs or outputs on the Arduino and Arduino Mega. Using three Texas Instruments CD74HC4067 Analog Multiplexers, the Mux Shield makes it possible to have 48 analog/digital inputs or digital outputs in many combinations. The Mux Shield comes with 5V and Ground headers so you’ll have power available to each input or output and comes with stackable headers installed. The source code below will get you started.

Although it is possible, we do not recommend using the original Mux Shield for digital outputs because the outputs will not stay high/low when you select another channel. In other words, the outputs do not latch. We recommend using the Mux Shield II, whose outputs do latch.

My Mux Shield is shorting out against the USB connector

This problem can be fixed by putting a piece of tape or some other non-conductive material over the USB connector.

A year ago we found out an online 3D Gerber Viewer which is created by Mayhew labs. We thought that is really cool and decided to see if can also make it for Fusion PCB.

But at that time only several programmers in Seeed and they were working on other stuff. The developing Plan was suspended.

Later someone suggested that Seeed should add a PCB view. We did not see so many people come and vote for it. Nearly 100 votes which is highest in Seeed Idea.

And thank you for that, we upgraded the priority and set up a team to realize it.

Now as you can see, we just launched Gerber viewer function.

After you upload your Gerber file, you can click the bottom “Gerber Viewer” under the “Add to Cart”

In a few seconds, you can see your lovely board!

You can see the front, the back, also each layers separately. Awesome!
